Sustainability is always at the heart of our creative process. We work on solutions that contribute to sustainable cities, buildings and spaces in all our projects. Through our collective skills and expertise, we can propose resource-efficient solutions with low climate impact from a life-cycle perspective.

We work with leading experts to provide full support in various sustainability services such as Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and Environmental Product Declarations (EPD).

Certification ensures that sustainability issues are addressed throughout the work process. We work on the basis of a certification system in almost all our assignments.

We work with environmental assessment of construction products according to the system Byggvarubedömningen and with the Nordic Swan Ecolabel or Möbelfakta for furniture and fittings.

Our organization is committed to significantly reducing CO2 emissions related to our business service offering. We propose and/or prescribe resource-efficient solutions with low climate impact from a life-cycle perspective.

With the ambition to be a leader in the focus areas of climate-smart materials and the recycling market, we as an organization are collaborating on Klimatarena Stockholm to be in line with the Paris Agreement and accelerate the climate transition.

Sustainability policy

Reflex has developed a sustainability compass to support our missions. The Sustainability Compass is a combination of checklist and inspirational tool that shows how different scales are treated and how they are connected.

At the start of the project, a sustainability directive is developed with the most prioritized points from the compass, which should guide the entire process.

The compass covers areas such as space optimization, accessibility, inclusiveness, sustainability, flexibility, energy and choice of materials and products.

Sustainability Compass

We work on sustainability by following the principles of ESG (environmental, social and governance).

To achieve carbon neutrality, we carry out annual CO2e analyses of our operations and carbon offset. By investing in Swedish sustainable forestry through Fight CO2, we support both carbon sequestration and biodiversity. We use 100% eco-labeled electricity from hydropower and invest only in green funds. We prioritize rail and local transport over air and car.

Our Sustainability Forum develops tools, initiates skills development and also compiles an annual internal sustainability report.

A sense of community is central to us, and we foster creativity by encouraging face-to-face meetings and collaboration. We have high ambitions for our social sustainability work within the organization and offer several employee benefits.
